Miss Hannah started dancing aged 3, studied most dance and musical theatre skills and completed her training at Arts Educational Schools, Tring (now Tring Park School for the Performing Arts) and Bird College. She then studied Street Arts (BAHons) at the University of Winchester, after graduating performed in various festivals and events across Europe before coming back to Kent to set up her own events entertainment company and begin a career in teaching.
She ran babyballet® Ashford, Biddenden and Folkestone from 2015 to 2019 when she handed over the reigns to the very capable Matty! Miss Hannah founded Zenzero Performing Arts School in 2016, runs The Creative Dance Company and is Director of Drama in Residence at Dulwich Prep Cranbrook.
Miss Hannah welcomes all feedback and hopes to be providing children and young adults with an inspiring and enjoyable introduction to performance and the arts.
Matty discovered dance slightly later than most, at the age of 15. He studied GCSE, BTEC & A Level Dance alongside his ballet grades before heading to university at Canterbury Christ Church to study for his (BA Hons) Dance Education course.
When he's not teaching Musical Theatre at Zenzero Performing Arts School he is running babyballet® Ashford and teaching with Miss Hannah at the Creative Dance Company. He is a professional actor who often tours the UK entertaining audiences of all ages! He is very privileged to have performed in various theatres and venues from the Margate Winter Gardens to the 02 Arena.
In addition to being a Babyballet franchisee Matty runs his own theatre company, Wiley Wolf Productions, that specialises in entertainment for the Rare Breeds Centre in Woodchurch and primary schools across the UK.
He is very passionate about working with children and helping them develop their skills through the arts. Matty is a doting father to daughter, Fosse.
Miss Katie’s dance background includes professional training in ballet, contemporary and jazz dance techniques at Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds. Her first job on completing her degree was as an animateur for Rambert Dance Company. Over the last ten years she has been teaching both in secondary and higher education. Miss Katie managed a dance department in an inner-city London school and lectured at the Faculty of Education, Royal Academy of Dance, London.
Alongside teaching for babyballet® and Zenzero Performing Arts she currently works as a freelance dance practitioner and is studying for a PHD this year, after gaining a scholarship with London College of Fashion and Studio Wayne McGregor. Miss Katie particularly enjoys teaching in an environment that encourages learning dance technique in a fun and enjoyable way. Miss Katie is also a Mummy to Matilda!
Steve is a Women's artistic level 2 coach who currently takes our Monday evening Gymnastics class.
He is currently currently studying to become a Primary School teacher whilst continuing to train as a cheer leader and gymnast. We are very lucky to have such an experienced and knowledgable coach who is able to help our students expand on their training and try out a fun skill which s a brilliant complimentary skill for any performer.
